Social Groups & Activities for Adults
Visitors and new members or visitors are welcome at all our activities.
As well as the activities listed below there are occasional social activities across the two churches such as curry nights and women’s meals.
We encourage everyone to be part of a small group where we can discuss our faith and encourage, support and pray for one another through the ups and downs of life. Most of the groups currently meet on a Wednesday. More information about these groups can be found on the Pastoral Care & Prayer page.
Please note, times and venues may change. Up-to-date information about current events can be found in the online calendar
There are regular open coffee mornings at both churches you are welcome to come for a drink and a chat.
At St Michael’s the parish centre is open every Saturday from 10.30-11.30.
At St Mark’s there is a coffee morning in the church every Tuesday from 10.30-12.00 noon.
The MU meets at 2.30pm on the second Thursday in the Parish Centre.
As well as talks and activities, the local branch has recently knitted clothes for premature babies and collected jars of pasta and rice for new students.
